Kids no longer walk to school because the roads have become so dangerous.
Pedestrians, wheelchair and mobility scooter users are blocked by inconsiderate drivers who park their vehicles on the pavement or across drop-curbs.
Bike users are treated as second-class road citizens.
Southampton Street Space is apolitical and inclusive; our campaign team come from all walks of life – some of us cycle, some of us drive, some of us walk, but the one thing which unites us is a strong desire to see a more equitable use of our city’s shared street space.
